  Family stats:   Donna and I have been married for 25 years and have   one child, Jonathan (19) who is a student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

 How I met my spouse:  A divine appointment at the University of Maryland.

Current job:  Senior Pastor, Trinity Church.

Education background:  Business degree from the University of Maryland, Go Terrapins!   Master of Divinity degree, Capital Bible Seminary.   Doctor of Ministry degree, Dallas Theological Seminary.   Ordained 1984

How long I have been at Trinity:   8 years

Personal testimony:   I trusted Christ on Easter Sunday morning 1975.   The best decision of my life.

Favorites:

    Music:   I enjoy all styles, but cannot sing a lick.  I’m the only one in church not allowed to sing on the praise team.

    Books:   The Bible, anything written by Chuck Swindoll, Josh McDowell, Chuck Colson, Bill Hybels, John Ortberg, Gordon McDonald and Phillip Yancey.

    TV Shows:   24, March madness

    Food:  Simple and plain, meat and potatoes guy.

How I spend my free time:   Family, basketball, travel, reading, anything competitive.  

Most embarrassing moment:  Anything mechanical.  The stories are endless. I have an allergic reaction to Home Depot.

Best childhood memory:  Big backyard baseball games at my grandmother’s house with all the family and friends on a hot summer day.  What fun!

The best way to pray for me:  I want to be part of an Acts 2 church that produces fully devoted followers of Christ.   Pray I remain faithful and passionate in my calling.

What I’d like to say to the people at Trinity:   Attempt great things for God, expect great things from God.
