The Six G’s

The framework defines what makes the Mission Statement a success.  In our case it spells out in broad strokes the marks of a “fully devoted follower of Christ”.

Grace                    A devoted follower of Christ is characterized by a life of Grace:  the individual appropriation of the saving work of Christ, living by grace and extending the message of grace to others.

Growth                 A devoted follower of Christ is characterized by evidence of a changing life and growth in Christ-likeness.  This growth is helped by scripture, prayer, worship, and spiritual disciplines.

Group                   A devoted follower of Christ is characterized by participation in the body of Christ and connection with others in significant relationships.

Gifts                     A devoted follower of Christ is characterized by serving the body of Christ according to his/her spiritual giftedness and passion.

Giving                  A devoted follower of Christ is characterized by supporting the body of Christ with generosity.

Generations         A devoted follower of Christ is characterized bybeing a part of a healthy family.
