CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
AWANA:

AWANA is an
international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry providing
local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for students in
preschool through high school. Awana’s goal is to equip churches to
reach kids, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them
to serve Him. Led by Laurie Hunter. Family Discipleship Center rooms
5-10.
YOUTH

Jr. High Youth Group
The
Jr. high youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45. It is
designed for 7th and 8th graders as a time of fun, games, fellowship,
and bible study. All Jr. high students are welcome to come have fun,
get connected with other Jr. high students, and grow in their
relationship with God. Led by Alisha Shields. Student Center.
Sr. High Youth Group
All
Sr. high youth are encouraged and invited to attend any Adult ministry
Bible study or engage in service opportunities on Wednesday nights. John
McCants has information on service opportunities.

Shame: Thief of Intimacy (women's study; led by Abby Shields; located
in FDC Rm 3)
What is the difference between shame and guilt. How do you overcome a
guilty conscience? How do you overcome feelings of inadequacy,
dependence and isolation? This is an encourage-oriented course that will
sow seeds of hope in your life. Hope in overcoming both in the

Revelation
(led by Glenn Milam; located in FDC Room 2)
Take a guided
tour through The Great Tribulation to the end of the world, as we know
it. What do the numbers 666 mean and who are The Beast, The Antichrist,
and The False Prophet in Satan’s unholy trinity? Visit The Great White
Throne Judgment and learn why you won’t be there (we hope). Glenn Milam

Biblical
Body Building – (led by Compassion Ministry; located
in Sanctuary)
A time of study of various portions of scripture and their life
application led by Compassion team leaders, compassion staff, and
Trinity leadership.
There is a wonderful time of
testimonies from volunteers and the people they are helping each week.

IS ALPHA??
Basically...it
is "conversational evangelism." This is
a 10-week opportunity
during the Wednesday Nights' 4th quarter to bring your friends and explore the meaning of
life in a conversational, safe, honest, and open environment.
WHEN: Wednesdays March 12 -
May 14 @ 6:45-8:00pm
WHERE: Trinity Church
WHO: Every adult and Sr. High
teen is invited, especially unsaved friends w/ questions about God and
life. Do you or someone you know have questions like:
Is there more to life than
this?
Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus
die?
How can we have faith?
Why and how should I read the
Bible?
Who is the Holy Spirit and
what does it do?
How can I resist evil?
How does God guide us?
COST? The Alpha Course is
FREE
COMMON EVENING: It will begin
w/ a 1hr light meal and fellowship. A short worship time will follow
There will then be a 45min talk and
video that address key issues relating to the Christian faith.
After the video, you will have an
opportunity to break into small groups and ask questions, express
opinions, and discuss the topic of the evening. It is also a time to
make friends and bounce ideas around in a relaxed, non-threatening
environment.
